These oven baked chicken tenders are so easy and tasty and save you the mess of splattered grease that frying makes! My husband loves them!

Ingredients

about 1.5 cups almond flour (maybe a little more)

salt

about 2 lbs of chicken tenderloins

3 T Franks red hot sauce

3 T melted ghee or butter

Directions

Heat oven to 425ºF and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

Set a big piece of foil on the counter to fit all your ingredients. Lay out chicken tenderloins on the foil. Pour almond flour into a pie dish or other flat dish with sides and season pretty generously with salt. In a low bowl or another pie dish, combine the Franks and melted ghee.

Use one had to dip each chicken tenderloin into the Franks mix and use the other hand to dip and coat both sides in the almond flour. Place each chicken tender onto the parchment lined sheet pan as you go.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until nicely browed. You can flip them over carefully the last 10 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes after you pull them out of the oven before serving.

Serve with ranch, ketchup, over salad, or make some oven baked steak fries! Enjoy!
