Grilled Hot Wings

I loooooove hot wings….especially from Hooters. Turns out Hooters hot wings don’t love me, so I created this recipe! Grilled, not fried, and no nasty oils in the sauce!

Grilled Hot Wings

3 to 4 lbs chicken wings

Creole seasoning (MSG free)

1/4 cup Franks Red Hot Sauce


Turn the middle burner on grill to medium, temperature should be around 300-325º F.

Season wings on both sides with the creole seasoning (like you would using salt).

Place wings on either side of burner so they’re not directly over heat.

Cook for 45 min to an hour, flip, cook for another 45 min to an hour.

Put wings in a bowl that you have a lid for, pour 1/4 cup Franks, cover and shake.

Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
