Dry Rub Ribs

I love ribs but I’m not so fond of all the sugar that’s usually the first ingredient in dry rib rubs. You can of course make your own, but I found a brisket rub by Adams Reserve that’s sugar free, MSG free, and tastes great on ribs!

Ingredients

rack of baby back ribs

rib rub or brisket rub (Adams Reserve if you want sugar free)

salt and pepper

foil to wrap

Directions

Season both sides of rack generously with rub. May need to add some salt if you think rub needs it. Let sit for about 30 minutes.

Heat end burners on grill to medium low so temperature will stay around 325ºF. Place ribs over middle burner that is off, so they’re not over direct heat.

Grill rack for 45 minutes, take off grill, wrap in two layers of foil, place back on grill for another 45 min-1 hr. Let rest for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
