Sweet Potato Buns

Grill up some burgers and these sweet potato buns are here to save the day!

Sweet Potato Buns

  • Servings: about 4-6

2 medium sized sweet potatoes, sliced 1/4-1/2″ thick

coconut oil


parchment paper

optional spices: paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cinnamon, cumin, chili powder, pepper


Heat oven to 400ºF. Place sweet potato slices on parchment lined roasting pan. Brush both sides with coconut oil using a pastry brush. Sprinkle with salt and any other spices that suit your fancy.

Cook for 15 minutes, flip, cook another 10 minutes until nicely browned.
