Grilled Chicken

I know this is a boring recipe but I just thought I would share my recipe for making juicy grilled chicken. Possibilities are endless with grilled chicken so it’s a great staple to know how to make well. Not one of my favorite proteins because I prefer a fattier meat, but to each their own!

Grilled Chicken

4 chicken breasts, rinsed and dried

2 T olive oil

juice of half a lemon

salt and pepper

any other seasonings you like: garlic powder, onion powder, paprika or any chicken blend


Heat grill up to 600ºF. Tenderize the breasts with a meat tenderizer on both sides so that it flattens out to about a 1/2 inch. Combine olive oil and lemon juice in a little bowl and brush onto chicken using a pastry brush. Sprinkle on any seasonings you like.

Grill on each side for about 3-4 minutes or until cooked through. Let rest a few minutes before serving. That’s all folks!
