Cast Iron Wild Salmon

I’ve had a hard time trying to like wild salmon, but crisp it up in a hot pan with some butter and…..sold! This takes hardly any time and pairs great with my Roasted Broccoli

Cast Iron Wild Salmon

Ingredients

wild caught salmon

grass-fed butter

whatever seafood seasoning you like

lemon juice to squeeze

Directions

Heat up a cast iron skillet over high heat for several minutes with butter (enough so salmon won’t stick), until it gets pretty hot. Sear seasoned salmon flesh side down for about 6-7 minutes. You will be able to see when it’s almost cooked through. Flip over to skin side down and let it cook a minute or two the rest of the way through.

Top with butter and freshly squeezed lemon. Garnish with lemon slices if you’d like.
